1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VoxTok, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app. We may update these Terms at any time, and continued use means you accept the changes.

2. Description of VoxTok

VoxTok is a mobile app that lets you log in with TikTok, record audio, extract sounds from TikTok videos (with creator credit), apply effects (like Auto-Tune, Chipmunk, or Echo), browse a sound library, view user profiles, and export 15-second branded videos for TikTok sharing. It’s available in a free version (with ads) and a paid version (ad-free via in-app purchase).

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use VoxTok. If you’re under 18, you need parental consent. You’re responsible for complying with TikTok’s age and usage rules too.

4. Account and TikTok Login

You log in using your TikTok account via TikTok’s Login Kit. Your TikTok username and ID are linked to your VoxTok profile. Keep your TikTok credentials secure—we’re not responsible for unauthorized access due to your negligence.

5. User Content

You can create sounds by recording or extracting TikTok audio (crediting the original creator).

You own your original recordings, but grant VoxTok a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and share them within the app (e.g., in the sound library or your profile).

Extracted TikTok sounds remain the property of their creators; you’re responsible for proper use and credit.

Don’t upload illegal, harmful, or copyrighted content (beyond fair use). We can remove content that violates these Terms.

6. Free and Paid Versions

Free Version: Includes ads displayed before exporting videos.

Paid Version: Removes ads via a one-time in-app purchase. No refunds unless required by law.

We may change pricing or features with notice.

7. Conduct

You agree not to:

Use VoxTok for illegal purposes.

Reverse-engineer or hack the app.

Spam, harass, or infringe on others’ rights (including TikTok creators).

Misrepresent extracted sounds as your own without credit.

8. Intellectual Property

VoxTok’s name, logo, and branding are ours. You can’t use them without permission.

Exported videos include a “Made with VoxTok” watermark to promote the app.

9. Third-Party Services

VoxTok relies on TikTok for login and audio extraction, and Replit for hosting. Issues with these services (e.g., outages) aren’t our fault. TikTok’s terms also apply to your use of their features.

10. Termination

We can suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. You can stop using VoxTok anytime.

11. Disclaimer

VoxTok is provided “as is.” We don’t guarantee it’ll be error-free or always available. Use at your own risk.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, VoxTok (and its developers) aren’t liable for damages from your use, including lost data, profits, or issues with TikTok exports.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of United Kingdom, excluding conflict-of-law rules.
